I love "The Sound of Music" and it makes me happy when it's on TV back to back because then I can watch it twice.
Haircuts feel great (no change - just trimmed up the layers on the ends.)
My mom makes really good potato salad and I love that I go to her house and she has a container for me to take home plus a bag of homemade caramel corn. Yeah, not really WW food but it's a holiday weekend, right???
My goal for tomorrow is to clean out two closets. I want to get rid of the stuff in them that I haven't looked at in ages to make room for all of the other stuff that needs a home. Yes, I have too much stuff.
I've said this before but I love Dean Winters. His Allstate commercials make me very happy. Yes, it's partly because he reminds me of a certain Mr. something or other but I also just find him to be very enjoyable.
I fnished my third Sarah Dessen book, "Keeping the Moon." I'm like a broken record but until you all start telling me you're reading her books too, I will say it again. Her books are so GOOD. Next I'm reading "This Lullaby." My mom started reading her books too and also loves them. Nobody is too old for young adult fiction, people.
My sister and her family are at Disneyland so she's texting me these totally awesome pictures of them on roller coasters and they make me laugh so much. Excuse the fact that it's an iPhone photo of the roller coaster photo but you can hopefully get the idea. Matt's in the back covering Jen's eyes and then Matthew is kind of hidden. Next is Kenzie in her Minnie ears, Nathan and Natalie. Such hilarious facial expressions.
I love that your new blog posts are just complete randomness. Wanna hear random? I dreamt derek hough (from DWTS) grew to be like 6'8" and was so freakishly tall he looked stupid in every dance. Come to think of it, that is pretty stinkin' hilarious.
okay okay -- I put two on hold! I am working on that goal to read more :) I love Sounds of Music too...John taped the wedding part for me since I love that part (so powerful) and he didn't feel like watching it...therefore I can watch it later! haha
You are lucky to be thinking about all this cool stuff. I am just thinking about unpacking and that is so lame. They must do the Sound of Music every year around this time because I remember watching it the last two years while canning peaches. I love the amusement park picture. hilarious.
I LOVE getting my haircut too even though its never anything hugely different. So relaxing and feels good to wash it next wehn you know its healthy and trimmed up. Going tomorrow to get mine cut! My kids will all be in school again, yippee!
I think I am going to do another chop on my hair. There is a salon down the street with some nice Portugese women in it (this area is very densly populated with people from Portugal) that looks like it would be fun. Did you get the package yet?
