Today I got flowers from Mr. Crushworthy. Don't get excited. It's because I've been helping him with work stuff.
Oh and by the way, he's quitting and moving out of state next month.
So sad. Why do the cute guys leave and the freaky ones stay around forever?
Life is so unfair.

Thursday thoughts
I love and adore hummus.
I went to Costco with Mr. Crushworthy during lunch today (I KNOW!) Of course, this is the one day that I go to Costco and don't see a single soul that I know but I promise this really happened. He's struggling with a decision, seriously stressed out and needed a field trip away from work. Who knew that a stroll around Costco with me is a surefire cure-all? Well, it is.
I've worked late every night this week. It's getting old.
Have you ever met anyone who is "allergic" to everything? I have. Did you know that if you have food "allergies" and you eat out at fancy restaurants, your food "allergies" won't bother you because the quality of food is such that it doesn't bother your food "allergies?" Yeah, I didn't know that either. And that's all I'm gonna say about that.
TV update: I can't wait to watch the finale of Ugly Betty (don't tell me how it ends.) I am loving Survivor this season - still can't believe Russell outmaneuvered Boston Rob. I'm not really into Dancing with the Stars. I have all of the episodes of Lost recorded (including last season's finale) and have yet to watch any of them. Justin Bieber was actually pretty good on SNL last weekend. Who'd have guessed I'd ever say that?
My wrist hurts. I'm not sure why.
I got my tax return. I'm going shopping now. Spring is springing and I need new clothes for my trip to Utah next week. Yes, I leave for Utah one week from today. I'm going to Callie's graduation and Women's Conference. I'm excited even though the thought of leaving work for 6 business days stresses me out. Blah.

Five before bedtime
1. I interviewed for "the job" yesterday. It went very well and now I'm playing the waiting game. I loathe playing the waiting game. It's my least favorite game.
2. My favorite candies are now available in stores, staring at me as I try to pay for my healthy groceries. Dear Cadbury Creme Eggs and Peanut Butter M&Ms/speckled egg variety, why are you so fabulously good??? Get thee hence.
3. This should really be a post in and of itself but last week I took a day off work so I could watch my sister's four kids overnight while Jen and her home from Iraq husband could go stay downtown. Here's what I did while playing favorite auntie/pseudo mom...
I made my bro-in-law's favorite cookies:

I let this cute dog (and the other one who isn't quite as cute) in and out all day.
I went shopping at the mall during the 3 hours Natalie was at school on Friday and found my way cute interview outfit. I celebrated by stopping at Sonic on the way home. I got a lovely drink chock full of limes and crushed ice. Yum.
I attempted to do Natalie's hair before school. I should have taken a better picture but it was not pretty. I'm not one of those girls who grew up doing everyone's hair. I can barely style my own hair, let alone anyone else's. She was nice about it though. Thank goodness she's only five and doesn't care (and seriously isn't she just the cutest?)
I played this very fun game. Love it although now it's stressing me out because it's gotten too hard.
But the best news is that this restaurant paid for Jen & Matt's dinner after Jen told them Matt was home on R&R. THEN their hotel gave them an upgraded room for free. I love it when businesses are kind and generous so I linked to them and when you are so inclined, you should give them your business as a thank you.
4. I spent time with these wonderful girls this weekend. It does my heart good to see them. My favorite thing was laughing uncontrollably during games on Saturday night (Celebrity Taboo!) Sigh. I love to laugh almost as much as I love these girls. I think I'm laughing (or more likely, talking) in this picture. I'm a dork.

5. Should #5 be A. that I played on the trivia team again this week and we won for the second week in a row, despite the fact that two of my correct answers were pooh-poohed in the final round (the animated sequel to Disney's Peter Pan is what? And what 80s movie series was set in Hill Valley, CA?) Or B. should it be that my boyfriend, Mr. Crushworthy came to visit me today? Hmm. Both are good and noteworthy. The latter included a hug so I'm thinking I'll go with B.

Happiness is...
Since I know you're wondering, my idea of happiness is hugging Mr. Crushworthy on a Tuesday morning.

Sigh.
Since I haven't talked about him in awhile, I will confirm that yes, he is still quite dreamy.
I know you're all wondering what he looks like and well, he looks a little like Dean Winters. If you've never heard of him, you've probably seen him in something:

Yum.

Three Items of Business
#1
It was a normal Wednesday morning at work, about 8:30 AM. I was answering email, listening to the new Jennifer Hudson CD I downloaded last night (jury's still out but I like most of it) when I look up and see the most amazing sight coming down the hall toward me. I'll bet you're wondering who or what that could be...hmm...
If you guessed, Mr. Crushworthy, AKA my boyfriend, then you would be absolutely, 100% correct.
He said "I knew I'd find you." (Please recall I moved to a different area of the office last week.) He brought with him the guy he works with whom I hadn't met yet.
They just came over to say hi. (Please recall he works in a different building about 2 miles away.)
They didn't come for a meeting or anything - they just had some free time and came over.
I KNOW! (Say it in your best Monica Geller voice!)
We chatted for awhile and then they left. I looked & felt much cuter today too, which was great except for one item, which I will address next.
#2
I woke up with a huge pimple on my jawline on Monday. I used to have bad skin. I don't have bad skin anymore because several years ago I went on Accutane. It was icky medicine but I have great skin now and I love it. This thing growing on my face is so huge and disgusting. Thankfully, my hair covers it most of the time. I'm beyond ready for it to be gone.

Let's talk TV! (And if you're wondering, no I don't sleep enough.)

Let's talk TV! (And if you're wondering, no I don't sleep enough.)
- Pushing Daisies tonight!
- CSI Miami is probably the stupidest show on TV. This week's episode where the human trafficking girls are all locked in a cage, all dressed in pristine white sundresses, about to get in a big dirty freight truck but then Horatio Caine is hiding behind them and comes out to arrest the bad guy? SO STUPID! I'm done with that one.
- Biggest Loser - I still don't have a favorite team but I'm enjoying this season. I think I like the two mother/daughter teams the best.
- Amazing Race! I love it! I like Starr and her brother and the divorced women so far. My mom came over and watched it with me on Monday, which was very fun.
- Desperate Housewives - I really liked the 5 year flash forward!
- Survivor - something I keep thinking about is how kind the hottie resident was when he was talking about the gay guy having such an obvious crush on him. Hottie resident could have been mean and homophobic but instead he said the gay guy was his friend. That made hottie resident even hotter (hottier?) in my eyes.
