1. I've been sick for the last three weeks and found out today it's bronchitis. Antibiotics (875mg, thank you very much), cough syrup with codeine and an inhaler later, I'm finally starting to feel more like myself.
2. I saw Secretariat on Monday night. It was very entertaining and exciting, even though, hello, we totally knew what was going to happen.
3. Kim and I went to see a play and left at intermission. It had no redeeming qualities and we held out no hope for it improving so we left and felt great about it.
4. I went to the temple with one of my former Laurels who will soon be leaving for a mission. Oh, how I loved being there with her and boy do I love her. She's something special and the people of St. George, UT are SO lucky to be getting her for 18 months.
5. I'm going to Forks, WA this weekend. No, not for the Twilight stuff but I will keep an eye out for the Cullens. My friend HJ and I will be staying here - I'm excited. Maybe even excited enough to take pictures that I will then post on this here blog.
6. (Note to Vanessa, stop reading now) The Sister Wives people will be on Oprah tomorrow night. Cannot wait. The only Oprah show I'm looking forward to more is the one coming up the end of this month where she will reunite the cast of Sound of Music. Can you even imagine how wonderful that's going to be???
Gotta go watch Iron Man 2 starring one Robert Downey Jr.
Sigh. Isn't he just dreamy?

On TMZ the other day, there was a pic of that dumb polyg and one of his wives. Guess where they were? At MY Sephora inside Penney's in Provo. If I would have seen them, I would have walked right up to them and told them they were breaking the law and made a citizens arrest.
I'll probably watch Oprah. I'll let you know what I think.
totally setting the DVR for Oprah. Side note, Robert Downey IS dreamy the second Iron Man...not so much :(
I am so glad you are going to be getting better soon. Seriously...3 weeks? Too long for anyone to suffer :)
I will make sure to see Oprah tomorrow! Thanks for the heads up ;)
Vanessa, I would have hoped you'd make a citizen's arrest based solely on Kody's hair!
I forgot to mention that my mom and sister had to stop watching the Sister Wives show because they hate Kody so much. He really grosses me out too but I still can't help but watch. Oh and I don't think I'm a fan of wife #4. Something about her just doesn't sit right with me...can't put my finger on it.
Maybe it's her willingness to 'marry' a guy who already had 3 wives? Just a thought. :)
I'm so glad you're feeling better! That's a long time to be sick, and I didn't even know. Of course, it's not like we talk face-to-face or anything. ;)
4 out of 6 of us got the bronochitis thing and yes it lasted awhile. Yea for you leaving a dumb play, yea for you feeling better, yea for Ashley, yea for Forks getting you for a week end, YEA for Sound of Music! ick for that sister wives thingy.
I'm so glad that you're feeling better!! Glad we left early...good call. I didn't know Oprah was having the Von Trapp Family Singers!! Okay, not really, but that is funny as I was just looking at their super expensive hotel in Vermont. Oh, it's not them, it's the STARS. Thanks for the notice...
Oh, just watched Iron Man 2. Dreamy, yes. Good movie? Yes. I'm glad you went and got checked out at the doctors. Sometimes that's just what we need even though we don't want to do it.
Love you,
Callie
So glad to hear you are feeling better and I am looking forward to a blog post with all of the "Forks" pics!
I wanted to tell you that we got "Boo'd" this week and some yummy Halloween treats were left on our door step. When I asked the girls who we should "Boo", Emily said... "Can we "Boo" Sister Shaw?!" Now, I know that I am spoiling the surprise, but I wanted you to know just how much my girls love you!
