TV Wrap-up

Here's some random thoughts on three of the TV shows I've been recording lately:

Legally Blonde the Musical - The Search for Elle Woods: Love it! I think it's such a good show and I hope you're watching. The only thing I don't really like is Haylie Duff. She's just not necessary on the show. Oh and Logan, UT is represented in the darling Rhiannon. Other than her, I'm not sure yet if I have a real favorite. It's a fun show though -- watch it!

Army Wives: Holy cow! The season premiere, while a little cheesy with the Pamela voiceover going throughout the whole thing, totally blew me away! I won't say what happened because you may still have it on your DVR but I was so shocked and I totally cried. And was it just me or did the guy playing Roxie's husband during the video look like a completely different actor than the one last year? I'm guessing it's the same guy but it sure didn't look like it.

The Bachelorette: So many thoughts to share. I'm putting them in a list so it's easier to read!

• That chef Robert guy is the creepiest guy EVER! It was just icky listening to him talk about what a good kisser he was but I laughed as DeAnna totally eluded the kiss. And his shirt unbuttoned to his navel? Puh-leaze. He was just gross. And doesn't it look like he got a chemical peel or something? His face is overly smooth.
• The one-on-one date with Jesse - is it just me or is there zero chemistry between those two? I just don't see that going anywhere.
• And DeAnna being all bratty because Graham wouldn't kiss her when she wanted him to? I was embarrassed for her. However, I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think he's going to be in the final three, at the very least. It's obvious she has it bad for him, even if he's totally dragging his feet.
• And the whole BBQ freak out? I'm not liking DeAnna more and more each week. It's like she expects the guys to fall all over her every minute of the day and when they don't, she gets her nose all out of joint. I know, she's the reason they're all there & the focal point of the show but maybe she needs to realize men are different than women. Guys are just happy hanging out with other guys.
• Poor Fred -- surprised by the double elimination! I don't think he's going to have any trouble finding a girl once he gets home. He's just too cute and sweet. Football coach Brian with the awesome thighs and salt-and-pepper hair will do just fine at home too.
• And they're giving DeAnna an hour long interview next week, it looks like. WHAT? Don't we get enough of her already in the bloated two hour shows???
