- I performed the musical number at Sacrament meeting today -- I sang a duet with a very fun friend. I had to sing a little part all by myself, which was frightening because I'm a choir singer, not a soloist. However, nobody ran out of the chapel holding their ears so I think it was okay.
- We were a presidency of two today in Primary and since our secretary has been trying to get released for 4 months so she can concentrate solely on being the music leader, it meant a lot of running around for me. I conducted, did the secretary stuff and tried not to panic when our Nursery leader came in and said she was the only one there today. Thank goodness another nursery worker showed up eventually.
- I'm reading a Christmas story during the program at our Enrichment Christmas party this Tuesday.
- I'm singing in a small group during the program at our Enrichment Christmas party this Tuesday.
- Oh and I'm also now one of the MC's for the program at the Enrichment Christmas party this Tuesday.
That's kind of a lot of Jeanelle in a three day period, don't you think??? I'm a little sick of myself and it's not even Tuesday yet.
I'm co-hosting a bridal shower at work later this week and the mom-to-be was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes. Anyone have a tried-and-true yummy and also sugar free dessert recipe I can make for her?

You did a wonderful job today! It was beautiful. No one here gets tired of seeing you, so it's not too much Jeanelle for me! (Of course, I've only actually ever talked to you maybe twice -- we need to do something again. :) Ooh, primary sounds scary. Looking forward to Enrichment!
Amen sistah!! I had to speak at enrichment on Friday, and yesterday I gave a talk in sacrament, and I'm also doing a duet with MATT FERGUSON in SACRAMENT (yep, you read right!) for our christmas program. AANNDD I have to teach YW for the whole MONTH of december!! Not looking forward to it all... just want to get it all overwith.
I will never tire of Jeanelle!
Jeanellie -- you are the best! Glad we get to have you in the spotlight for awhile before you fade back ...then we'll bring you out again! haha Did any of that make sense? I think not. Just know that I love you and loved your number today!!
I have to comment on this because I'm experiencing 'The Holly Show' this week. My sisters and I are performing for our enrichment program and I'm also singing solo in the ward choir. Well TONIGHT is the enrichment program with my sisters and tomorrow is the ward party. So... when I got asked to sing at the ward party too, I said no. I mean, I'm pretty sure it's enough 'holly' for one week. Know what I mean? Plus I'm conducting in RS. I just get the feeling like people have had enough HOLLY, but when I said no, the girl that asked me sort of seemed put out. What to do, what to do. Sometimes it's just so nice to sit back and be the one watching. Am I right?
Oh, and can I just say that it's shocking to me that you're 41. You look NOWHERE near 41. And it's not that I think 41 is old either. My hubby is 42. But I honestly thought you were my age... 30. You look mahvelous!
