Emotions of the day

Thrilled: One of my most favorite missionaries comes home tomorrow! I can't believe it's been two years. I'm going to the airport and then over to his family's for dinner tomorrow night (hopefully my Primary peeps are not planning on a Weds night meeting!) I can't wait to see him!

Curious: I ordered some stamping stuff and UPS said they delivered the boxes on Friday but guess what? The boxes weren't there when I came home Friday after work. I called Stampin Up and they are re-sending my entire order (which wasn't small.) I've lived here almost eleven years and have never had anything stolen off my porch. Why now???

Excited: My sister Jenilee was at the Honolulu Airport today picking up our niece who was coming in for a visit and just look who she met!!! (Bridget, this pic is for you!)

In case you don't watch the show, it's Hurley from Lost. This was taken with her cell phone and lifted off of her Facebook (thanks, Jen!) She said he was really nice and friendly. I'm so glad she met someone from her favorite TV show before she moves home. Which brings me to my next emotion...

Happy: Jenilee and her family move home in about 3 weeks and my friends Tyler and Jeni will be home from their European adventure around the same time. I'll love having both of them relatively close by again!

Pleased: My mom is getting a puppy this weekend -- half Pekingnese/half Shih Tzu. It will be nice for her to have a little companion.

Thoughtful: Michelle posted a wonderful blog entry today -- go read here. See if it makes you think a little too.

It was SO cool that I had to do a double take!! Here's the story: (taken from my facebook)

I met Jorge Garcia aka "Hurley" from my favorite show LOST today when I was picking up my niece at the airport. He was standing in an inconspicuous place with his girlfriend (waiting for her family i think), but luckily I looked to the right just as I passed the wall, made eye contact with him, took a couple steps, did a double take in my mind, and then FROZE and said, "MATT WAIT!" Matt turned around to see what I wanted and saw who was behind me. We stood there for a split second while I debated in my head whether to turn around and talk to him or not, but then I said in my head, "You'll never forgive yourself if you don't!" so I took a deep breath and turned around and said, "Can I say hi to you?" He said, "Sure!" I was so thrilled! I tried to keep my cool and not freak out and make calm conversation about him living here and me liking his blog. And then I asked if I could take a picture with him (kicking myself for not bringing my real camera) so Matt took a picture of us with the camera in my phone. He's a great guy! It totally made my day!! Matt WAVED at Hurley a few weeks ago and I was green with envy (no pun intended), but I actually got to MEET Hurley (well, so did Matt, but he wouldn't have if it weren't for my eagle eye!). Now I can leave Hawaii happy :o)

Ahhhhhhhhh! I can't believe your SU order wasn't there. What if it is just delayed? That rocks SU is sending you a new box. AWESOME. I just got my box today too with some of the previewed mini catalog products. I love it all!!!!!! If your other box shows up, just forward it on to my house. lol.

First off...you are my favorite single friend and I wish so much you could come over for dinner. (Or even better meet me at a restaurant sans children!)

Second...my husband would be so impressed by the LOST run-in! Hurley is his favorite. How cool...
