Just one of those days

You know those days when you show up to church, excited about the preparations you've made for your calling?  You go into the classroom, excited and ready to teach an important principle to those angelic children?  But instead of loving what you've prepared, you get blank stares, closed  mouths, and the like.  After 10 minutes of this you lose your patience, lecture them a bit and come close to crying but hang on and finish the day.

Yeah, today was one of those days for me.  So glad it's over.

I'm so sorry! That's terrible. We sat through two hours of the ward leaders explaining the programs for the youth and encouraging us to follow the Faith In God, Duty to God or Personal Progress again. It was good, but a smidge boring and freezing in the room.
I hope this week is wonderful!

You too? That sounds like MY primary class exactly. Don't tell anyone, but not teaching them on Sunday because of the whole bedrest thing, has actually been kind of nice. Oh, and did one of them have seriously bad breath or is that just my class too?

Ahhhhh I'm sorry. Kind of makes leaving easier? haha Not really, I know. I had fun in the nursery...those kids are hilarious. Still, my hat is off to the ladies who do that EVERY week! Those Primary kids are going to miss you so much! Oh, and maybe I should say I had one of those days too now that I've found out my students think I'm "corny" haha

I toally know what you mean! I taught the 5 year olds and I would prepare and prepare and they would finish the activities that I had in like 5 mins and we had the rest of the class time to stare at the wall. :) I feel your pain
