- Camp meeting tonight. We got a lot done but still have some major things to accomplish before kick-off next week. Kind of nervous but not really -- it'll all come together. I'm having such a love-hate relationship with camp this year. I think it's because it's my 7th year in a row and I'm tired.
- My elderly neighbor (who happens to be LDS like me) just called re: some condo business but during the course of our conversation, she told me she watches America's Next Top Model and that she was so surprised because the winner was decided tonight and she was a "plus sized" model. I can't decide what's more shocking -- that a non-skinny-minnie won that show or that my nearly 80 year old neighbor watches it religiously.
- My sister just stopped by - love her.
- I got gift cards to eBay and iTunes today - I have such nice friends!
- I'm bringing "Lars and the Real Girl" on my get-away weekend with the girls. I've heard good things about it. Anyone have a review they want to share?
- Why do people that I thought I knew and loved have to turn out to be big dumb jerks? (I wish I could go into detail here but I can't.)
- I downloaded the soundtrack to "Dan in Real Life." LOVE IT! It is just a fantastic soundtrack that totally moved the movie along. Most soundtracks are just random songs these days but this one is all one person (Sondre Lercher) and the songs just sort of accompany and tell the story. Mellow and nice music.

I liked the music to Dan in Real Life, too. More than I liked the movie, actually. Hilarious that your neighbor watches NTM. I used to like it a ton, then kind of grew out of it, I think. I realized I had better things to do than spend my time watching people pursue a goal that has nothing to offer the world. HOWEVER, I still like the show. :) Just don't watch it. I'm so sorry about whatever bad experience you're having with whomever it is. Maybe it's a phase they'll grow out of, maybe not.
So, by the way, I just saw Iron Man (so good!) and I am DEFINITELY a Robert Downey Jr convert. He's really a highly attractive man.
7 years...that's all the far I made camp. Enjoy it this year because you never know what will happen the next (although you are so great with the girls that it would be a big loss if you weren't there). Your sister cracks me up! Actually, your mom does too...my fingers hurt! :) By the way, I saw something about that plus-sized model...are you kidding me? That's plus-sized? :) Too bad you're not into AI this year...it's going to be a great show next week! I love David A. saying "GOSH!" so many times. :)

Sondre Lurche is amazing. I love that soundtrack too! I think my favorite song is the one at the very end when they're doing credits.
