Early morning entertainment updates

Good morning! I woke up early today and instead of exercising or going to seminary (bad) I got on my computer to answer some much neglected email and to also, blog a little.

1. I love the new Mariah CD. I know I'm a little biased because I'm a fan but it has a great, relaxed feel and she sounds fantastic. It reminds me a lot of my most favorite of her CDs, Daydream. I watched a little of AI last night just to see her. And that brings me to my next topic...

2. American Idol. I'm just not into it. I think my main problem is that I cannot stand Ryan. I don't record it and tend to watch it live, when I catch it. This is painful because then I'm subjected to Ryan. I was happy with who went home last night even though she sang one of my favorite Mariah songs (Forever.) I really like Carly's voice a lot and of course, that David A. has a sweet voice too. I also wish that sometimes they wouldn't have theme nights because then it seems like they all sound the same -- all ballad-y.

3. I tried to watch "The Real Housewives of NYC" after Paige recommended it and also after a discussion with Kim. Did not love it. And I obviously do not always have high standards when it comes to my entertainment viewing! lol But the only thing that was interesting to me was seeing how "the other half lives." But other than that, meh. Not my thing. And speaking of high standards in my entertainment viewing...

4. I loved the Bachelor this week because he just keeps getting rid of the girls I hope he will get rid of. That never happens in reality TV!! It was beyond time for Robin and Marshana to go home. Marshana was so negative and confrontational -- two of my least favorite personality traits. I was happy that he let Robin go as well. When it gets down to a smallish group of girls, you'd think they'd all let each girl have their time with Matt but she was the queen of butting in. And her "bon soir" when she left? Dumb. She tried so hard to be something she wasn't. I still think Noelle and Amanda are my favorites. I also think Shayne is hilarious but wonder if she's still in it just because she's Lorenzo Lamas' daughter and the producers wanted to get to the family visits just for a little c-list star power?? She's so young and immature but also very fun. I laughed hard when she was sitting in the snow and pulled out all of that makeup. Honestly, that's probably something I would do!

5. Biggest Loser! We were so thrilled with Bernie taking the $100K! That was fantastic. And I wish Roger and Mark would just lose the beards all together. Not a great look, in my humble opinion. Ali looked AMAZING and I'm so glad she won but I wonder if she got too skinny just to ensure the win? I kind of think she needs to head to Coldstone and maybe get just a couple of pounds back. Because the TV adds pounds, it makes me wonder how tiny she is in person. Does anyone know how tall she is? And is she too airbrushed in this milk ad? Her face in this picture freaks me out a little but she's rocking the pink dress!
Gotta go get ready - have a fabulous day!

You know,I think she's good at that weight. She is very obviously muscular which is hard to do if you are starving yourself. That being said, she looked really great 15 pounds heavier, too. She promised she would absolutely not go under 120 because she wanted to be a good example. I suspect her maintained weight will be a little higher than 122. I'm SO happy she won!
