It's the next day and I'm still thinking!

1. I know this will be considered controversial to some in my circle but I love Rosie O'Donnell. I don't agree with everything she says or does necessarily but I think she's a fantastic and entertaining human being. She was on Good Morning America yesterday promoting her new crafting with your kids book. I watched her show religiously, and stuck with her when she freaked out on Tom Selleck and fell apart over Columbine. I subscribed to and loved reading her magazine until the publishers pushed her out. I thought more and learned more about things like Iraq and politics during her year on the View. I love that she makes me think. Watching her on GMA yesterday, I just kept saying to myself "she belongs on TV." And you can disagree all you want - I don't really care.

2. I exercised again - day 2. Yay for me.

3. This yummy man is single again and he's from my corner of the world so I'm sure I'm going to run into him somewhere. A girl can dream, right? And speaking of, did you ever see "P.S. I Love You?" I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed that movie, despite crying from start to finish.

4. And speaking of movies, if you haven't seen it yet, you must watch "Dan in Real Life!" It's a talky movie for grownups but it's so enjoyable, sweet and just lovely.

5. And still speaking of movies, I cannot recommend movies to my mother and it sometimes drives me crazy (love you momma!) I get excited about a movie and tell her to watch it and she nearly always turns them off. She likes suspenseful action ones like the Bourne series and then some comedies. I know she wouldn't like "Dan in Real Life" (she'd say it's too slow.) I bet if I had her make a list of the movies she has enjoyed, it would be pretty short. Whereas, I could make a huge list. Maybe she just has higher standards than me? (Nah! Hey, mom, name that movie quote!) However, I don't like every movie I watch -- I think a future blog post will be movies I loathe. There have been a few.

6. I have been making cards a lot lately and I love it. I love that I'm using the stuff that I've collected over the years and I love that I get to be creative. I now have a card for almost every occasion in my file (I was running very low for awhile.)

7. I'm getting a haircut (a trim) this AM. I'm holding out one more month for color. The fact that I can barely make it three months without having to color my hair irritates me to no end. Totally stinks.

8. It's sunny and 38 degrees outside! Where is spring????????????

Yay for exercise. Once more this week and you've met your goal, right? Um, speaking of moms who don't like movies, my mom dislikes any actor who has ever done anything immoral and won't watch something they're in. Hm, that limits things a bit. Professional hair color is EXPENSIVE. I just do it myself (and infrequently at that), but I also don't have highlights. They look great on other people (such as yourself), but I think they would look really foolish on me.
