Happy Tuesday!

It's a great day today! Why? Mariah's new CD is out today and so is "Juno" on DVD. I think a Target trip is on my agenda for lunchtime today. I preordered Mariah on iTunes so I have it already. I can't even remember the last time I bought a non-church-music CD. Love, love, love iTunes. And back to Mariah, did you see her on Oprah yesterday? I thought she was so great (I'm talking about Mariah, not Oprah! Oprah I like but sometimes she's just a little much.)

I had a great weekend too. Friday, I spent the afternoon and evening with Kim. We went to Pier One and I found a little decorative thing (I don't even know what you'd call it) It's a dark, metal photo holder and the holders are flowers. I'm not putting pictures in it -- just got it to put on my counter. It's cute though! We got a yummy dee-lite pizza from Papa Murphy's and went back to her house and watched "13 Going on 30." I haven't seen that movie since it was in the theater. So cute!!

Saturday my friends Richard and Sue were here from Spokane. We haven't seen each other in ages so it was wonderful catching up. We went to lunch at Panera and walked around Kent Station for awhile. It was 78 degrees that day - heaven! (it's raining and 40 degrees today - boo.) Here's a pic.

Why was I the only one who left her sunglasses on? Um, because I'm LAME!!! Sue brought me some of her awesome oatmeal chocolate chip cookies in a darling tin with a cute "J" button on it. She's so thoughtful! I miss them already -- wish we still lived a mile away from each other.

I spent the rest of the afternoon, evening and a lot of Sunday making these baby shower invitations. I take forever when I make cards but they are sure cute! Kim came to help, which was nice! I watched two movies while I worked: "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "Becoming Jane." I really liked "Becoming Jane." Even though it's not a true biography of Jane Austen's life, it's still entertaining.

Sunday was pretty much non-stop and busy. I had two meetings plus church and a visit from the home teachers. Not the most restful of days! In between all of that that, I finished the invitations and went to Jazzy's that evening for some Wii action! I brought DDR over which was very fun. Her husband Phil, surprisingly, was very good at DDR! Who'd have thought??? ;)

I made this lasagna last night (I only made half a recipe and even that is too much. I need to find someone to take some leftovers off my hands!) It's really good and super easy to make but I think there is too much meat in the recipe. I'll for sure make it again but will reduce the beef/sausage next time.

Tonight's the finale for Biggest Loser. I hope it's Alli but maybe Kelly will surprise us all! It'll be interesting to see who America voted to be the 3rd contestant -- if it's Roger then he'll probably win. Either way, it'll just be fun to see how everyone looks.

I exercised this AM! Yay me. :) Gotta run - will probably blog about the Bachelor later!!
