My new laptop has arrived and it's lovely. I still have to figure out how to fix my old computer long enough so I can get my iTunes stuff off of it but at least I am back online.
And speaking of sweet, I'm doing a cookie exchange with people from church. 17 people signed up! We only have to put 8 of our treats on each plate but do the math, people! That's a ton of treats!! I took the easy way out and made Denae's blog brownies, rather than a more traditional Christmas cookie. I still need to frost them but I'm doing one pan with red frosting and the other will have the traditional green. (Sorry to ruin the surprise if you're part of the exchange.) I don't think I can get 68 brownies out of each pan so I'm planning on baking one more half batch. Sigh.
But another problem? I'm not going to work the next two days because I have a class. I can't give these treats to anyone at church, obviously. What am I going to do with them? Maybe they'll freeze???

Oh good -- the blessing of no class is you can take the cookies to work! haha That's so kind of you to do the exchange when you really didn't know who to give them to. They all look yummy! And I definitely don't think you took the easy way out with making those brownies! Yum! One more think...I just spelled that same suh-weet when I wrote someone today! haha I had to laugh when I saw that our minds are thinking alike again. Congrats on the new, beautiful computer! xo
Yay for you, that looks like a fabulous lap top!! And I just did my first cookie exchange last week and it was a blast. YUMMY!!! I totally want some of those brownies now. I think I'll make some this weekend for my party!
